Paradise Valley Courthouse Wedding with Colby and Ashley:

Elopements and Micro Weddings are all the rage right now. They allow couples the freedom to make meaningful decisions that put love at the center of their wedding day. These intimate celebrations allow couples to strip away traditions and expectations and focus on the marriage, not just the wedding day. They’re perfect for couples who want to do things a little differently and call the shots on their own.

Colby and Ashley were no exception. They had an intimate ceremony at the Paradise Valley courthouse with their closest family and friends. We social distanced, many wore masks, and had a simple ceremony by a local judge. We took a handful of family photos and then headed to the desert for portraits of just Colby and Ashley. It was the perfect way to celebrate their love!

During the age of Covid, weddings and elopement look a little different. Guest counts are smaller, masks are more familiar, hand sanitizer is plentiful, and everyone keeps their distance. It’s new and definitely an adjustment, but many couples are taking these changes in stride and rolling with the punches. Colby and Ashley, thank you for being so kind and accommodating; I’m so glad you got to have the wedding of your dreams!
