Engagement Photos with Craft Beer
Engagement photos in the desert never get old, am I right? There’s just something about the way the sun sets and the light hits the mountains that is unlike anything else in the world. Although these photos will give you a glimpse, it’s the most incredible experience in person. So whether you’re a Phoenix native or here for a vacation, don’t forget to get outside and watch the sunset in the desert.
When Matt and Erica shared their engagement photo ideas with me, I knew we’d make epic magic. They mentioned a mini road trip, the desert, and craft beers, so obviously I was all in. After exploring our options, we landed on the south side of the Superstition Mountains. I love this side of the mountain because it’s quiet, secluded, and we usually have the entire desert to ourselves.
One of my favorite parts of Matt and Erica’s engagement session was their passion for making it unique to themselves. They love local craft beer, so naturally, we cracked open a few to let loose and take photos. One stone, two birds. 😉
We explored the raw desert, avoided the jumping cacti (yes, that’s a real thing!), and they even shared a slow dance next to a saguaro. Pretty damn cute, right? Matt and Erica, I can’t wait for your wedding next year at Wedgewood Ocotillo. It’s going to be SO. GOOD.
If you love Matt and Erica’s photos, you may also love DK and Pauline’s desert photos!
