Growing up, my family moved often but collecting small keepsakes kept me grounded. Filled with summer camp lanyards, movie tickets, and friendship bracelets, my memory box reminded me who I was and the beautiful memories I had made. 

The keepsakes I remember most were the printed film photos of family and friends. During each cross-country move, these prints kept me tethered to who I was. My memories became permanent in my hands; these photos paused a moment in time and allowed me to hold on to them forever.

I believe photos become our family heirlooms, our sentimental keepsakes for our future families. They remind us of who we are and the memories we've made along the way.

I wholeheartedly believe in leaving this world better than I found it. This belief shapes not only the way I live, but the way I approach my work. I believe in leading with kindness and providing an exceptional experience to my couples. 

A deeply important part of my story is my heritage. As a Finnish-American, I was raised to value family traditions, thoughtful design, and a deep sense of curiosity. These influences continue to shape the way I see the world, tell stories, and connect with my couples.

In addition to photographing weddings, you’ll likely find me planning my next trip abroad, trying a new restaurant with my husband, or getting lost in a novel. Each one inspires the curiosity and creativity I bring into my work.
