Monroe Street Abbey Portrait Session:
Drew and Steve were kind enough to spend some time in front of my camera at Monroe Street Abbey. Drew and Steve are sweet friends of mine and have been dating for several years. It’s always an honor to photograph friends and they were no exception. We spent an afternoon exploring the property and highlighting our favorite alcoves. Every corner of the Abbey has something to offer and we loved seeing the property in person. Drew and Steve, thank you for trusting me with your photos!
Monroe Street Abbey is a historic landmark found in the heart of central Phoenix. Built in 1929, this now open-air property served as a church from 1929 to the 1970’s. After a heart-breaking fire and multiple renovations, Monroe Street Abbey is now a premier event and wedding venue in Phoenix. The iconic roofless courtyard is a blank canvas, ready to be filled with wedding guests for a ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. The surrounding spaces offer indoor areas for private events, meetings, or more wedding locations. The options here are truly endless. This space is perfect for couples who value history and are searching for a one-of-a-kind wedding venue.

If you’re interested in a portrait session or wedding at the Monroe Street Abbey, they can be contacted through their website here. This space is truly one of the most unique venues in the Phoenix area and is perfect for couples searching for a location outside of the ordinary.
