Superstition Mountain Desert Wedding with Josh and Julia
Like many couples, Josh and Julia made the difficult decision to postpone their big celebration in 2020. But they weren’t ready to let covid dictate all of their plans. They decided to have an intimate elopement instead. I, of course, was elated for them. I wholeheartedly believe intimate celebrations are just as meaningful as big wedding days. If that’s one silver lining from covid, I’ll hold onto that.
Josh and Julia got ready at a nearby airbnb and then headed to the Superstition Mountains. Listening to their heartfelt vows in the middle of the desert was just the sweetest thing (this is always my fave part of a wedding ceremony). They cried, they laughed, and just after their ceremony, they freaking danced to Love on Top like no one was watching. It was them and that was the best part. THESE are the moments that matter. And I’m so grateful to get to capture them.
Josh and Julia, I’m so grateful to be on this journey with you. It’s a privilege to photograph your wedding and I can’t wait for your big celebration later on when the world is safe to party!
This Superstition Mountain Desert Wedding with Josh and Julia was a dream and I’m grateful to be a part of it!
