Top Places to Propose in AZ

Top Places to Propose in AZ

Proposing is a big AF deal. And whether you’re the type who wants a big planned setup, or want a low-key, intimate thing, Arizona has so many rad locations to pop the big question. Here are a few top places for proposals and engagement photos.

1. Monument Valley

This is an underrated location, in my opinion. Monument Valley is a beautiful and intimate location for a proposal. These babes popped the question just before the sun rose behind the red rock buttes. We explored the valley together for their photos and created amazing memories. This spot is perfect for travel-loving babes who don’t mind being in the middle of nowhere. 😉 See more from their proposal here.

2. Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend has become a popular spot recently and for good reason. The views are quite spectacular and totally worth the 10-15 minute walk from the parking lot. It does get pretty crowded, especially at sunset, so opt for a sunrise proposal and you’ll be perfect! See more of this session here

3. Sedona Red Rocks

Sedona has always been a romantic getaway location. You literally cannot find a bad photo spot here. From Cathedral Rock to Devil’s Bridge, there are endless options for hiking, staycations, and delicious food. It’s perfect for the outdoorsy and indoorsy alike!

4. Superstition Mountains

The Superstition Mountains are a local fave for Phoenix residents. The mountains offer dozens of trails to explore. From Lost Dutchman on the North side to Peralta Trail towards the South, the saguaros are endless and the views are unforgettable.

5. Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Boyce Thompson Arboretum is on the road less traveled. They offer greenhouses, cactus gardens, tropical vibes, and desert landscapes. All in one location. Pretty epic, right?

Let’s be honest, there are a few things we all would love when the proposal happens, and a photographer is probably pretty high on the priority list. If you’re looking for a chill photographer who can capture that moment happen, I’m your girl!
