Suzy's Stories

I can’t believe I’m writing these words, but my baby sister graduated from Arizona State this Spring. She spent all 4 years at ASU in color guard, performing at every Sun Devil football game, teaching at local high schools, and killin’ it on and off the field.

Growing up, we were 4 years apart in school, so when I graduated ASU, Xenia was just beginning. I always wished we could have overlapped, even for just a year, so that we could experience school together. But it’s also been an amazing experience to watch her grow, find her passions, and explore the world on her own.

Xenia, you’re a fiery soul who can’t be tamed. You’re a woman with strong convictions, never apologize for them, but always be open to new experiences. Life is a wild ride, but it’s better with you in it. Love you lil’ sis.
