From Seattle to Phoenix, having Jared and Vicki in front of my camera never gets old. It’s the best kind of adventure to photograph a couple throughout their early years together and I’ve been fortunate enough to capture their love story on 3 occasions. Jared and Vicki call Seattle home and last September hosted me for a rainy weekend getaway. In less than 72 hours we explored the city, hiked the forest, and took a thousand photographs. You can read more about that adventure and see the photos here.
These two lovebirds were reunited for a short trip recently while Jared was able to take a few days off from training in the Army. They decided to celebrate their desert beginnings and have a portrait session in the wilderness. We explored Saguaro Lake and the surrounding mountains, careful to avoid those jumping cacti (yes, they’re a real thing!) and rattlesnakes. We even busted out a little smoke bomb at the end. Jared and Vicki, I love capturing your playful and passionate love for another. You’ve been refined by the fire this past year and I truly believe the best is yet to come for you both.
