Superstition Mountain Engagement Session in Apache Junction:

Over the past 12 years of being a full-time wedding photographer, I’ve explored and photographed at many local locations for engagement sessions. It’s no surprise that the most popular location for engagement sessions are the Superstition Mountains. This stunning mountain range is just 40 miles east of Phoenix and has dozens of trails to explore. Lost Dutchman State Park is popular among both tourists and locals and holds the iconic view of the mountains.

Most outdoor adventurers explore the west and north side of the Superstition Mountains, but for Doug and Tim’s engagement session, we decided to explore the south portion of the mountains near Gold Canyon. We hiked a bit, explored a few trails, and ultimately found the most gorgeous desert views for their photos. There’s truly something magical that happens in the desert at sunset; I hope everyone gets to experience an Arizona sunset at some point in their lives.

Doug and Tim, thank you for trusting me and having me take your engagement photos!
