Kylee and Cody’s Superstition Engagement Session
One of my favorite parts of photography and art is that it’s nuanced. No two weddings and no two engagement sessions are the same. In addition to shooting and editing, location and weather will have the biggest impact on how a session will end up. For Kylee and Cody’s desert engagement, we had a dust storm roll in. These are super typical for the Phoenix area in the summer so we just roll with the punches! But even despite some wild weather, Cody and Kylee’s engagement session turned out so lovely!
These cuties were photographed by my associate, Sam. If you’re curious about what it’s like to work with my associate, here’s a quick rundown! I personally guide and take care of all logistics up to the wedding. I help create a detailed timeline, and family photo list and ensure we’re all on the same page for the big day. My associate, Sam, is on-site for the engagement session and during the wedding day (along with a 2nd photographer) and they take care of all the photo magic! After the wedding, they provide all photos to me and I take it from there. I take care of all post-production and editing and then deliver photos to the client. I think we make a pretty great team!
