Red Rock Engagement Photos with Zach and Danielle
Day trips to Sedona are my jam. Surprised? Probably not. 😉 Getting to adventure to the red rocks with Danielle and Zach was no exception. These Phoenix babes envisioned an epic view and red rocks, so I knew Cathedral Rock would be perfect for them!
Cathedral Rock has become one of the most popular choices for engagement photos, and to be honest, I can see why! It has a rad variety of spots to take photos so every single session is unique. Some couples want to focus on the cactus and greenery, while others love the cliff and red rocks. There’s really no bad spot to take photos here.
The hike to the top is pretty intense, All Trails lists it as a “hard” hike. It typically takes my couples and I about 45 minutes to hike to the top. We then catch our breath and once we’re cooled off, my couples change clothes for their photos! It’s a popular spot for tourists, hikers, and photographers, so I recommend checking it out during the week.
