Scottsdale Royal Palms Resort Wedding
I’m not sure where to even begin in sharing DK and Pauline’s wedding. Each and every one of my couples are wildly important to me, but I experienced a truly unique and deep connection with DK and Pauline. From the start, DK and Pauline have been the kindest, warmest, and most trusting couple. After our first skype date, we all said hell yes to making magic together and didn’t look back. They even travelled all the way from New York for their engagement session at Papago Park. We shivered in the early morning hours and waited until the light was just right and GUYS it was absolutely magical.
Their engagement photos set the bar real high but trust me when I say, their wedding delivered. They brought together top-notch vendors to bring their wedding vision to life. Pauline knew what she wanted, but also trusted her team to make it happen. I’m convinced this deep trust is what allows me, as a creative, to be the best photographer I can be.
Pauline and DK also did things a little differently. They planned a destination wedding with their best friends and yet, did it all without a wedding party. They ditched the drama and pressure and instead, were surrounded by a fiercely loyal crew who celebrated and honored them without end. Plus, we still got rad photos. 😉
After they shared personal vows with tears in their eyes, we took sunset photos (my fave part), and then the crew danced their freakin’ booties off and looked damn good doing it. DK & P, I can’t thank you enough for having me be a part of it all. 😭💕
