Apache Wash Trail Maternity Photos // Bailey and Jennifer
Getting to experience milestones with my couples is such a unique experience. After photographing Jennifer and Bailey’s wedding in 2018 at the Red Agave Resort in Sedona, they invited me to photograph their little one before she made her appearance. We adventured to North Phoenix to the Apache Wash Trailhead near the Phoenix Sonoran Preserve and hit the trail just in time for sunset.
Jennifer’s maternity glow plus the sunset were two incomparable lights that made this session one-of-a-kind. Jennifer chose a comfortable, flowy dress that was perfect to show off her baby bump while still feeling beautiful. You can never go wrong with a flowy dress for photos! It was such a joy to have these lovebirds in front of my camera again. They’re going to be incredible parents, so kind and loving. She’s one lucky little one. Thanks for having me babes; I always have a great time with you and we create amazing photos that will last a lifetime!

Pro Tip: The hour prior to sunset is typically the best time for photos. Just as the sun sets beyond on the horizon, an instant glow covers the desert that can’t be beaten. I usually meet my couples about 1 hour prior to sunset and end their session about 15 minutes after sunset.
