It isn’t every day you get to throw a baby shower for one of your closest friends! This was in fact, my FIRST baby shower throwing experience. And I loved every minute of it! When I proposed the idea to Lauren, her little baby hormone’s kicked in and she teared up and said YES! It was clear that her shower wouldn’t be a traditional afternoon with cheesy games and terrible finger food. She wanted a unique southwestern themed brunch to celebrate her little bundle of joy, Milly. How perfect is that?!
Baby Milly, you’ve got the best mom around.
She’s kind, generous, and even has a little sass in her when the time is right. 😉
She loves cacti, teepees, and anything with salsa. She’ll feed you yummy prickly pear juice and take you to the zoo. Oh, and you’ll have so many baby photos when you’re older, you won’t know what to do with them. She’s going to give you the world little one, get ready.
The morning was started with advice to our mama-to-be and a little mad libs game. Decorated with a deer skull and vintage antiques, this was the perfect entrance to Lauren’s baby shower.
This adorable dream catcher was hand crafted by my friend Savannah Ashley. She has an adorable etsy shop and you can find her at Scottsdale’s vintage market, Junk in the Trunk!
Decor for baby Milly’s southwestern bohemian shower was a hodge podge of antiques, goodwill finds, pinterest inspiration, and items from around our homes. It was a blast preparing and finally seeing everything come together!

Lauren’s shower was made possible by the lovely ladies at Moelleux Events, Melissa and Loretta. We couldn’t have done it without them! They helped make Lauren and I’s pinterest dreams come true, catered the delicious Mexican feast, and provided much of the decor AND the mini succulent favors for all the ladies. I mean, come on, how perfect is that?!

These adorable, delicious, strawberry filled macaroons were HAND PAINTED by the one and only Katie Frederick at Sift Bakehouse. She’s a gem and creates the most yummy desserts I’ve ever had!

A huge thank you to Sara, Katrina, Amanda, and Melissa for all their help as well!! Lauren, thanks for letting us spoil you and baby Milly, you deserve it. I can’t wait to watch you grow into motherhood. <3
There are several incredible friends and vendors that helped make Lauren’s shower possible. Please be sure the leave them some love!!
