Lauren’s Proposal at the JW Marriott in Scottsdale
I have a very special story to share with you! Lauren reached out several months before she and her girlfriend, Nernwon, came to Phoenix for a girls trip with friends. They planned festivities to explore the valley and even squeezed in a road trip to the Grand Canyon! While planning, Lauren decided their trip would be the perfect time to propose to Nernwon. Little did she know, Nernwon had something very similar in mind.
The morning of Lauren’s surprise proposal, the two went for a hot air balloon adventure in the valley. During their excursion, Nernwon popped the question and offered Lauren a ring! It was sweet, sentimental, and a total surprise. Then later that evening before a fancy dinner outing, Lauren took Nernwon for a walk in the garden at the JW Marriott and popped the question. I hid in the bushes and quietly photographed the couple’s second proposal. How adorable is that?! Two proposals in one day, both a secret, both pre-planned during their Phoenix trip. I mean, it doesn’t get more perfect than that!
After Lauren’s proposal, we explored the hotel property and took celebratory engagement photos. Their girlfriends were in on the whole thing and helped orchestrate the details. We even snapped a few group photos at the end. What a trip to remember!
