I love to photograph creatives in their element; photograph them making magic, creating work, and doing the thing they were created to do. One of those people I love the most, is Melissa with Moelleux Events.
The Story of How We Met
A few years ago I photographed a wedding for a rad couple, Evan and Amanda, and Melissa happened to be the mastermind behind the planning, decor, and catering. Soon after the big day, Melissa asked me to coffee so that we could dream about what it would look like for her to pursue a life in the wedding world. Looking back, I’m so grateful she reached out and I said yes. We’ve been dear friends ever since.
Moelleux Events Now
Throughout the last several years, Melissa has hustled harder than anyone I know. Her business has bloomed (literally and figuratively) into a sucessful and established company. Melissa, along with her amazing wife Loretta, have brought together a team of kick-ass humans to bring their wedding couple’s visions to life. I literally get so pumped to work weddings by their side. Melissa is a sweet and sassy soul who always shares her truth and is a better friend than I could ever ask for. She’s the wedding best friend her couple’s didn’t know they needed and always goes above and beyond. Melissa, you’re the real deal and you make me a better human. Cheers to you, babe!
