Jordan and Emily are a couple after my own heart. They love craft beer, dad jokes, Disney, and best of all, Jesus. They created such a unique wedding experience by truly encompassing their faith and love for one another. From our first skype meeting, Jordan and Emily welcomed me into their lives and gave me all the trust in their world. Soon after, I traveled to San Diego to finally meet in person and adventure throughout San Diego, capturing their engagement photos. I felt like family instantly.
San Diego is quickly becoming a second home for photographing weddings. I love the drive, the ocean air, and especially love the people. My team and I had a blast spending the weekend in Southern California capturing the one-of-a-kind love between the Friske’s.
Emily’s downtown SD mid-century modern Airbnb was the perfect space for her and her bridesmaids to get pampered and prepped for the big day. The atmosphere was relaxed, the occasional dance party happened, and maybe even a tequila shot or two. 😉
Jordan and Emily shared an intimate first look in a serene garden at the Immaculata. In the midst of USD’s campus, which is already incredible, lies a Spanish influenced garden made even more gorgeous with Jordan and Emily. We joined the wedding party soon after, captured more photos as the sun set, and anxiously awaited the ceremony.
Jordan and Emily,
There aren’t enough words to explain my excitement for your marriage. I’m deeply grateful for your friendship and for your trust. Your wedding day was unlike any other. Thank you for choosing me.
Don’t be strangers. 😉
xoxo,
Suzy
